I would now like to announce the winners of the contest.

1st place


I was drawn in by the simple concept and the organization of the character concept design.  It is a great example as a well thought and clean cut design.  Normal character concept designs do have swatches and facial expressions which helps others to understand the character.  Using a personal example as your inspiration does help a lot because it allows me and other people to know you as a person and an artist.  Did I mention that I started to crack up reading your personal inspiration?  Don't take it the wrong way, I enjoyed it.  But please, do sleep, because less sleep will dwindle your performance and you'll get all kinds of cancer and illnesses.  Congratulations winning first place.

2nd place was a tie between and


For both I was interested with the background story, it really gave me a sense on what was going on with the character and helped me understand.  For VannesseW's OC I was able to relate it to myself, to a certain degree.  Because when I was little I wanted attention, because as the middle child you weren't given much attention.  I hope I'm not an uke. /covers butt
For sakurabelle's OC I was impressed by the inspiration and the hefty amount of research that went through it.  Research is very important when it comes to developing a character.  Trust me, in a regular business research takes 1 week to design one prop.  Congratulations to you both placing second.

3rd place


For FeatherFactory's OC I was drawn in by the simple design.  It was so simple that made me remember the character so easily.  The inspiration was great, because it showed what is going on with the world today and how you wanted to change it if you had the power to do so.  Being an artist is great because you can play as God and create your people and future.  Really enjoyed your work.  Congratulations on winning third place
